In this presentation, you will learn powerful ways to improve and support your health and fitness. The course explores the WHY model, founded by motivational speaker and author Simon Sinek.

Learn the three areas of: WHAT, HOW AND WHY are related to areas of the brain and how motivation isn’t enough to achieve long-term health. We explore how to build strong habits, which lead to long-term adherence in your health and well-being. We investigate through case examples, two people who discovered their WHY and used strong habits to achieve their long-term goals.

We explore the Change Cycle, whereby changing your former habits can sometimes lead to setbacks. The setbacks are part of the change cycle and can create a catalyst for future success.

The course finishes with a series of self-exploration questions to help you discover areas that may hold you back from achieving lasting health and well-being.

Mindfullness / Stress Webinar

About

In this presentation, we explore the many facets of mindfulness and its application in reducing stress and anxiety. Tony has extensive experience in mindfulness-based stress reduction, holistic healing, and mind-body awareness principles. We will explore the benefits of a mindfulness approach and examine how thoughts and emotions produce physiological symptoms, through a stress response.

Tony teaches knowledge and awareness using mindfulness, so participants have a variety of strategies in their life. We look at ways in which we catastrophise situations and how you can neutralise your thoughts to disengage from what is taking place. This requires experiencing life from the mind’s observer viewpoint, instead of creating a dialogue with your thoughts.

You will how your thoughts trigger emotions that release chemical reactions in your body that may lead to stress and anxiety. Using a mindfulness-based approach and through meditation and awareness practice, you will learn how to dampen the role of destructive thoughts to reduce stress and anxiety.
